The cosy mountain restaurant forms the heart of the Loderbichl Alpine lodge. It has been treating visiting skiers and hikers to classic mountain lodge dishes and regional delights from the Pinzgauer Saalachtal for the last 40 years. The restaurant can seat 120 people. The large guest parlour is friendly with light furnishings, numerous elements made from old timber and a charming design, creating a warm and comfortable feel throughout.
If you require something special for several participants, try a charming evening with our ‘Hutessen’. We will spoil you with quality meats and sides and the meat will be cooked in a social environment on a cast iron ‘hat’. A hit for all the family or a group!
For the best ice-cream for far and wide, come to us at the Loderbichl! The Konditorei Dankl confectioners produces impressive ice-cream for us made from our very own organic farmyard milk. Give it a try!

Hutessen - a very special experience
We would be happy to provide a sociable evening with 'Hutessen' for several people / a group, if you book in advance. You can cook your own marinated filet of beef, pork and turkey on a cast iron ‘hat’ in the centre of the table. Tasty salads and sides complete this culinary experience. So take a seat and enjoy a meal in good company!
"Wichtel ice-cream" made from our own organic farmyard milk
Enjoy our exceptional ice-cream (made from organic milk from our own cows) on the terrace with beautiful views of the Pinzgau mountains! The Wichtel ice-cream is a real treat for the taste buds – for you and your children!
Well-being parlour
You cannot fail to feel immediately at home in our parlour which holds 42 people. The 200-year old original doors from the old farmyard open up into a rustic farmhouse parlour with wooden flooring and a tiled stove – the perfect place to relax, unwind and enjoy the time. Down-to-earth cuisine and classic mountain lodge dishes based on meat and dairy products from our own organic farm are on offer in the spacious self-service restaurant.
The landlady – the chef
Landlady Marlies Wimmer does the cooking herself and prepares only top-quality local produce. Her legendary sugared pancakes are well renowned and just one of the highlights from the Loderbichl menu.
